Eagles' Jason Kelce called for a false start penalty on tush push play.

Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce is taking full responsibility for his costly false start penalty during his team's 20-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night.

Kelce was flagged just as he and his teammates were set to run the 'tush push' with hopes of getting a first down near the end zone.

Instead, the five-yard penalty forced the Eagles to settle for a field goal.

Rather than point fingers at the refs for a "bogus call," Kelce was open and honest about his mistake on the most recent New Heights podcast episode.

“We have not been disciplined enough," Kelce said. "We haven’t executed, especially in crucial moments of the game.”

His brother, Travis Kelce, even tried to put the blame on the league for hating on the "brotherly shove" play, but Jason wasn't having it.

“I got nobody to blame but myself,” Kelce said. “I have been warned about this because in years past, I had been known to move the ball up. I really have not done that that much this year. The problem was, I set my feet too close to the ball, so when I’m trying to get a forward lean, I moved the ball a little bit too far. … And it’s the right call. I mean, it really was stupid.”

Jason and the Eagles will look to turn things around when they take on the New York Giants on Christmas Day.
