The Philadelphia Eagles are set to lose running back D'Andre Swift to the Chicago Bears.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported at noon ET that the Bears were "expected to make a major push" to land Swift in free agency.

And they reportedly did.

Just 13 minutes later, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported a deal between Swift and the Bears was done.

Swift landed himself a three-year, $24 million deal with the Bears, which is a bit more than what the experts at A to Z Sports originally predicted.

Per A to Z Sports' contract experts, Swift was projected to look for a four-year deal worth at least $22.0 million with $12.5M guaranteed.

The Eagles acquired Swift in a trade with the Detroit Lions ahead of the 2023 season.

He ended up being the Eagles' bell-cow in their backfield and ended the year producing a career-high 1,263 yards on 268 touches and five touchdowns. It was the first time Swift logged a 1,000-yard season and a Pro Bowl nod.

It would have made sense for the Eagles to have re-signed Swift, but he found a better deal elsewhere.
