Philadelphia Eagles' security chief Dom DiSandro is still being punished for his heated interaction with San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw in Week 13.
DiSandro was not allowed on the sidelines in Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys and it turns out he won't be returning to the sidelines anytime soon.
Rob Maaddi of the Associated Press reports that the NFL has banned DiSandro from the sideline for the remainder of the 2023 regular season.
Two anonymous sources told Maaddi that DiSandro will still travel to games with the team.
"DiSandro is still allowed to travel with the team to Seattle for its Monday night game and he can perform all other work duties but he is not permitted on the sideline, one of the people said. Both people spoke on condition of anonymity because the league hasn’t announced its decision," Maaddi writes.
Big Dom has been with the Eagles since 1999 and this is the first time he's been involved in a scuffle and/or has been punished by the league.
As for Greenlaw, he was later fined $10,927 for an unnecessary roughness penalty against Eagles' wide receiver DeVonta Smith.
