Amid all the Philadelphia Eagles negativity over the last 48 hours, there's still a lot for Eagles fans to be excited about.
For starters, the Eagles are 10-3. They're going to the playoffs no matter what and they can still win the NFC East.
Winning the NFC East means the Eagles will need to win their final four games, starting with beating the (6-7) Seattle Seahawks next Monday night in Week 15.
The Seahawks have always been a tough matchup for the Birds and currently own an 11-7 record over them.
If the Eagles win on Monday night, not only will they be en route to claiming the NFC East, but it also means quarterback Jalen Hurts would have beaten every NFC team.
That's quite the accomplishment for a 25-year-old quarterback who has been a starter for just three seasons.
A win over Seattle also means that longtime Eagles center Jason Kelce would have at least one victory against all 31 teams in the NFL.
Woah.
The Eagles have not been able to beat the Seahawks since 2008 when Donovan McNabb was Philly's quarterback. They have lost seven straight games to the Seahawks since then.
Their latest losses versus Seattle came in 2020, once during the regular season and then in the wild-card round of the NFL Playoffs.
It's safe to say that the Eagles are way overdue for a win over the Seahawks and will be on a mission to put an end to their drought on Dec. 18.
