Jalen Hurts, the Philadelphia Eagles' (12-1) enigmatic superstar quarterback, is literally rewriting the record books.

And Philadelphia is better for it.

His latest broken record came in a 48-22 playoff-clinching beatdown of the New York Giants on Sunday. Hurts became the first quarterback in NFL history to amass 10 rushing touchdowns in back-to-back seasons.

But the record-breaking didn't stop there for Hurts. He also became the first-ever quarterback to amass 10 rushing touchdowns and 100 QBR in a single season.

Yes, Hurts, who many say is only a runner, has 10 rushing touchdowns and an over 100 QBR for the entire season.

That's just what he does.

"We just want to continue to taste progress," Hurts said after the game. "That is what this is about, progress.

"You don't want to ride waves. You never want to get too high or get too low. We know what we believe in, and we just want to continue to do that. We are never satisfied."

How Hurts does his damage

Against the Giants, Hurts threw for two touchdowns while also claiming one on the ground.

In the last three games, Hurts has tallied 1,007 yards and nine touchdowns with no interceptions. He's playing with an unbelievable level of confidence. It also helps that he's breaking records.

Another interesting stat to note: In Hurts' last 19 starts, he now has a 17-2 record.

For all the talk of him not being a franchise quarterback heading into the season, it's safe to say he's shut the doubters up.

Next up for the Eagles is the Chicago Bears. And then it is the biggest game of the season, the Dallas Cowboys on Christmas Eve.
