Eagles Pre-Game Notes

  • Philly should have no problem with Kenny Gainwell ruled out as D'Andre Swift will lead the Eagles backfield just fine, with help from Rashaad Penny
  • Starting middle linebacker, Nakobe Dean, who headed to injured reserve with a foot injury, is a huge loss. They'll look to Christian Elliss, who is relatively inexperienced. They also have veteran Nicholas Morrow and expect them to elevate newly signed LB Rashaan Evans
  • Eagles' secondary also took a huge blow last week. The Eagles will be without safety Reed Blankenship (ribs) and cornerback James Bradberry (concussion). Backup corner Josh Jobe will get his first NFL start.
  • The Vikings will be hungry for a win after losing 20-17 to the Buccaneers in Week 1, but they could be without several key starts as well, including starting center Garrett Bradbury.
