There's a lot that's different with the Philadelphia Eagles this year.
A different offensive coordinator, a different defensive coordinator, along with a handful of new faces on the roster.
And as the quarterback, it's Jalen Hurts's job to get familiar with everything and everyone.
"I definitely think it's different," Hurts said of the Eagles' 2023 team during Wednesday's presser. "You've got new challenges, new situations, new things that you have to experience. You have new pieces in that, so it's all a thing of adjustments."
We've seen each week how the Eagles have struggled to get the offense rolling, which has even caused obvious frustration from players.
"I know every day I come here I set the temperature for the room," Hurts said. "I set the temperature for how we do and how we operate, that's the mentality I have. You know, you've got to be able to manage those things, while playing at a high level."
Despite the ups and downs they've faced over the first four games, the Eagles have not only managed to win every game, but also revive their passing game and fix their defensive woes week by week.
And that's not an easy thing to do when you're dealing with such a young squad as a young leader.
Of the Eagles' 53-man roster, just five players are 30 or older. Those five are all starters, which means the rest of Philadelphia's starters are 29 or younger.
"Definitely a challenge and it takes great communication because we all as a team have high expectations for one another," Hurts said. "We're all dependent on the next man, so we just want to go out there and do it for the guy next to us."
This Eagles team still has a ways to go and a lot to learn, but Hurts has been doing a pretty good job of leading them to a 4-0 start.
