If you were watching the Philadelphia Eagles game on Sunday night, you probably noticed quarterback Jalen Hurts running with a limp.

That's because he was.

After the game, Hurts admitted that he had played through a knee injury but claimed that he was "fine."

In the second half, he had slipped into a knee brace and continued to conquer.

He completed 23 of 31 pass attempts for 279 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, while also adding 21 rushing yards and another touchdown to lead the Eagles to a 31-17 win over Miami.

It was a bounce-back performance by Hurts who had thrown three interceptions in the Eagles' Week 6 loss to the New York Jets.

"I feel fine. I'm happy in how we responded, especially coming off last week," Hurts said following the win. "It was a great opportunity. A great team out there. Got a lot of respect for them as a team, and you know, I think we played really good complementary football. Had some negative plays, obviously with the fumble, but I mean, you can't have that. I must be living bad with the other one, the tipped ball. I was just happy with how we played together, happy with how we persevered. We found ways to respond."

Hurts says he hopes he'll be okay moving forward as the Eagles continue down the tougher stretch of their 2023 NFL schedule.

Eagles' head coach Nick Sirianni is hopeful as well.

“Man, he’s a competitor. There’s nobody else I’d rather have as our quarterback," Sirianni said.
