The kickoff time for the Philadelphia Eagles' Week 1 matchup vs. the Green Bay Packers in Brazil has been set.

According to the NFL, the game is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 6 at 8:15 p.m. ET, which is 9:15 p.m. in Brazil.

The Eagles are used to playing late games in primetime during the season, however, a 9:15 p.m. time is nothing they're used to.

This matchup will mark the NFL's first-ever game in South America and will be played at Neo Quimica Arena in São Paulo. The stadium is home to Brazilian soccer club Corinthians and holds over 49,205 spectators, which is expected to feature more Packers fans than Eagles.

That's because Green Bay has the largest NFL fan base in Brazil, via A to Z Sports' Wendell Ferreira.

That's going to be tough to compete with, though Philly has one of the best traveling fan bases in the United States, so let's hope they can replicate that internationally.

For this game, the Packers will act as the away team while the Eagles act as the home team. Since this game is considered a home game for the Birds, it means they will no longer host the Packers at the Linc this fall.

Eagles fans can catch the game locally on NBC10 or stream on Peacock.
