Jalen Hurts knows that everything before Saturday doesn't matter.

All the wins, the standout performances, and the unbelievable plays were only the appetizer to what will be a win-or-go-home Divisional round matchup with the New York Giants. And if Philadelphia is going to come out on top, the Eagles need to do exactly one thing, according to Hurts — remain consistent with who they are.

"We put ourselves in this position with what we did all season," Hurts said. "The consistency we had all season, the focus we had all season, the preparation and the work we put in all season, I don't think anything changes. The process remains the same. We just want to lean on things that got us here."

What also helps Philadelphia's case is that Hurts already has the blueprint to beating the Giants. The two teams met twice already this season. In those meetings, Philadelphia beat New York 48-22 and 22-16.

Hurts was available in both matchups. And though he didn't play as well in their second meeting, he still proved a problem for New York to try and slow down.

Beating a team three times in one season is difficult. But historically, teams that play three times in one season win .600 of those playoff matchups. History is in Philadelphia's favor. So is Hurts and the team's mentality.

Come Saturday, it will be time for Philadelphia to prove itself with the added pressure and intensity of the playoffs.
