George Pickens is a budding star in the NFL.

Even when commanding double coverage during Diontae Johnson's absence, Pickens was a staple in the Pittsburgh Steelers' passing offense.

But according to Big Ben, the "show" that comes with Pickens is doing more harm than good:

"You don’t need to do that."

“I just don’t know how long do we allow that to keep happening,” Roethlisberger said on a recent episode od his podcast, Footbahlin. “Because it didn’t end up hurting the team. But what if it did? You don’t need to do that. There’s no point in doing that…. it seems like this happens in every game. It hasn’t happened yet, but it could hurt us at some point. What if that happens in the fourth quarter and costs you the game?”

In case you missed it, here is the primary play that Big Ben is referring to:

Pickens was also seen jawing with opposing corners more than he should have been, earning some yellow from the stripes, and even admitting the Rams got under his skin some.

But as Coach T always says, "I rather have to say whoa, than sic em."

There is no need to tame the inner competitive nature of Pickens, Johnson, and others.

But there is a fine line between competitiveness and selfishness, something that takes careful tip-toeing and should be nipped in the bud according to Big Ben.
