In one of the more memorable Thursday night games in a while, the Pittsburgh Steelers lost a heartbreaker.

After what looked like a blowout that was ensuing, Pittsburgh came all the way back just to shoot themselves in the foot

Here is a synopsis of everything that went right and wrong on Thursday night:

Not The Start Pittsburgh Wanted

In a game that had an over/under of 30 points, either team marching down the field and scoring on their first drive wasn't exactly a part of the script.

The problem is that Pittsburgh's limitations at the second level of their defense are starting to show up and cause real problems even against bad offensive units.

What Are You Looking At Mitch?

When Mitch Trubsiky said he was going to be aggressive with the football, most knew that meant the risk for interceptions would be exponential compared to Kenny Pickett, but you cant make these throws as an NFL QB.

Daily Double

Following the interception, the Patriots and Hunter Henry would capitalize, scoring not one, but two big TDs and taking a huge 21-3 lead.

Easily New England's best output of the year in a half, it looked as if Pittsburgh was in for a long night:

Mitch Strikes Back

Finally showing semblance of offensive prowess, Mitch Trubisky hooks up with Dionate Johnson for the second week in a row, giving the Steelers a much-needed TD.

E-Rob Makes His Presence Felt

There was a strong chance that Roberts was inactive after a groin injury that forced him to miss the second half of last week's game, but not only did he play, he was a huge factor in forcing a monumental turnover.

Pittsburgh was unable to capitalize after turning the ball over on fourth and two in the red zone, but the defense would come up strong, with the special teams cashing in:

Captain Miles

One of four Steelers captains, Miles Killebrew came up clutch with a huge blocked punt in front of New England's endzone. His play would be the catalyst for Pittsburgh's best red zone series in a while, ending in a QB sneak for six and a two-point conversion to TE Pat Freiermuth.

Why? Why? Why?

It's one thing to go out on your sword, but a little common sense goes a long way in football. So whether it was Trubisky, the Steelers offensive playcakllers, or someone else, this is never the call on 4th and 2 with the game on the line.
