The Pittsburgh Steelers had the best possible injury report following yesterday's practice.

Looking to double down, here is how things looked today:

Injury Report Observations:

  • TE Pat Freiermuth: Muth being downgraded to limited is not a good sign, especially when you consider he has had nearly three weeks off
  • EDGE T.J. Watt: Seeing Watt as a nonparticipant is quite a shock, and pretty worrisome when you consider it's a foot injury. Hopefully, Pittsburgh was just being cautionary. Tomorrow is the final injury report of the week, and whatever level of activity Watt has will be a major development. DC Teryl Austin said he expected Watt's finger injury to be a non-issue, but a foot injury for a pass rusher is anything but.
  • EDGE Nick Herbig: Herbig was limited with a quad injury,  which is poor timing considering he's Watt's backup. Luckily, he was limited though, meaning he was at least able to participate, which always bodes well for a players availability.
