If you were tuned into the Pat McAfee Show on Thursday, perhaps you were surprised to see Pittsburgh Steelers GM Omar Khan on the show. 

Well, what he had in store was sure to knock your socks off. 

So despite all the recent news surrounding the quarterback position, it seems that Pittsburgh knows who their backup signal caller will be for the considerable future, as announced by Omar Khan and confirmed by Ian Rapoport of NFL Media. 

We will await the financials of the deal, but Pittsburgh has killed two birds with one stone based on Khan's announcement and Rapoport's tweet, ending the discretion surrounding the backup position and saving money against the cap, all in one swift of a pen.
