The Pittsburgh Steelers face an uphill climb to make the postseason, but everything is still in front of them.

But if they want any shot at making the playoffs, Pittsburgh will need to win the next two games, starting Sunday in Seattle.

They're going to need to be healthy to do so, something Coach Tomlin shined light during his weekly press conference:

Steelers Latest Injury Update, Week 17

  • Kenny Pickett: Pickett returned to practice last week for the first time since ankle surgery but only in a limited capacity. This was followed by a report that Pickett would be ready to go for Seattle, with Coach Tomlin adding to the report saying: "We're in the same position with Kenny as last week, Mason will have the ball to start the week and we will see where Kenny is as the week goes on."
  • Minkah Fitzpatrick: After missing Saturday's game against the Bengals with a knee injury, Fitzpatrick is desperately needed back in a secondary down their top four safeties. Coach Tomlin looked into whether he would return or not, saying: "We'll see where the week takes us," regarding Fitzpatrick's avabiliy in practice.
  • Elandon Roberts: Pittsburgh's last remaining LB from the offseason was lost to a pec injury on Saturday and one that looked of significance. Coach Tomin confirmed that today, saying "Elandon can be described as out this week."
