The Steelers approach Sunday's game in Buffalo as huge underdogs on Wildcard Weekend.

Pittsburgh will need all the help they can get, especially regarding player availability.

During his weekly presser, HC Mike Tomlin just gave us an update on how things are coming along:

Steelers Latest Injury Update, Wildcard Weekend Vs. Bills

  • T.J. Watt: The latest update on Watt was that while he evaded major injury, the best-case scenario was that he would return if Pittsburgh made it to the conference championship, all but ensuring he was out this week against the Bills. Coach Tomlin confirmed as much on Tuesday saying: "T.J. can be characterized as out with his injury."
  • Minkah Fitzpatrick: The star safety told reporters that he would be back in the fold should Pittsburgh make the playoffs, and now he will, with Coach Tomlin telling reporters that Minkah: "Will be limited at the early portions of the week and we will let his availability determine his return, but I'm optimistic."
