After starting the week on a strong note, the Pittsburgh Steelers and more specfically, Pat Freiermuth took a step backward yesterday

And now it appears that his status is even worse then we could have anticipated:

No More Muth

This obviously isn't the news that Pittsburgh wanted, with the second half of Pelissero's report being the more concerning part in my opinion. It seems as if a trip to the injured reserve is not out of the realm of possibilities for Pat Freiermuth and the Steelers.

Now, luckily for Pittsburgh, all signs point to them getting their best-receiving option back, as we wait for official activations from the Steelers injured reserve.

But Muth is still the starting tight end for a reason, meaning the maturation process of rookie TE Darnell Washington will need to speed up, and fast.

If not, there's a certain tight end that Pittsburgh should be interested in via trade
