The Pittsburgh Steelers aren't afraid to be buyers in the trade market, especially under GM Omar Khan.

But Per Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, Pittsburgh is instead looking to sell, shipping off a player they are just getting used to:

King No More

It seem that come hell or highwater, Desmond King is no longer going to be a part of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

King was signed in late August after the roster cutdown period after a surprise release from the Houstoun Texans. A former All-Pro returner, King was supposed to bring versatility, experience, and physicality to the Steelers secondary and special teams.

Until he didn't…

King only logged one defensive snap over the course of the season, even after he was activated and played as a returner in place of Gunner Olszewski.

The move is certainly surprising from the outside looking in, but something tells me King just wasn't a fit for Pittsburgh. We know the organization values players that fit the Pittsburgh culture, and maybe King didn't embody that.

We may never know the real reasons, but we wish nothing but the best to King and his future.
