Cam Newton has been quite vocal about his criticism of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy.

Newton has continuously labeled Purdy as a "game manager," and he most notably called him the "10th best player" on San Francisco’s roster.

The majority of players on the 49ers roster have shied away from publicly responding to Newton’s criticism of Purdy. A handful of 49ers players have indeed come to the defense of Purdy against Newton, including Deommodore Lenoir.

Lenoir has had a front-row seat to watch Purdy all season long, and he does not understand why Newton continues to call the second-year passer a "game manager."

"If you look at his stats and look at what he done this season, how is he a game manager?" Lenoir said on the "All Facts No Brakes with Keyshawn Johnson" podcast. "The tight-window throws, he’s throwing the receivers open, he’s anticipating throws.

"… What he has been doing this season, it works, he’s winning, him being a game manager, I mean Tom Brady was a game manager I guess."

As Lenoir touched on, Purdy has simply continued to rack up wins with the 49ers. He boasts a 21-5 record as a starter with the 49ers, including the playoffs.

Purdy sure will look to once again silence critics in the 49ers’ upcoming Super Bowl 58 clash against the Kansas City Chiefs.
