Unless you're an Eagles fan or just a hater, it has to be difficult not to smile when watching Seahawks quarterback Drew Lock's postgame interview.

Following Seattle's upset 20-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football, Lock opened up in a candid postgame interview conducted by ESPN reporter Lisa Salters.

Lock, who earned his second start of the season due to an injury to usual-starting QB Geno Smith, wasn't afraid to get emotional in front of the camera.

"Amazing won't do it justice," Lock said after the game. "It takes a special group to rally around a guy that's coming into his second game of the year."

Prior to Lock's starts in Weeks 14 and 15 of this season, he hadn't started a game since January 2022 when he played for the Denver Broncos. Lock was 8-14 overall as a starter heading into Monday night, and he didn't even receive confirmation that he was starting against the Eagles until he arrived at the facility hours before the game.

"It's so hard to describe the feeling of not playing for so long," Lock continued. "And then you sit there, you watch games, you wonder, 'Can I do this still? I haven't been out there on the field.' You get back out there… 'You know what? I'm the man, so I can go do this.'"

And indeed he did. Lock finished the game with 208 yards and a score. A modest stat line, but the real highlight was the team's final drive. With 33 seconds to go and down by four, Lock tossed a 29-yard pass to rookie receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The over-the-shoulder pass was perfect, and the rookie hauled it in for the touchdown and the win. It was a career-highlight play for Lock.

"I'll remember that play-call for the rest of my life."
