Quarterbacks are front and center as we enter the stretch run of the regular season. With each game becoming increasingly crucial, this is the time of year that the best quarterbacks start to carry their teams.
Here are our top quarterback Over-Under passing total bets for Week 14.
*Odds subject to change
Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen OVER 237.5 passing yards vs. Los Angeles Rams (-117) – Caesars Sportsbook
Allen is at the top of his game right now and is a leading MVP candidate. He doesn't always throw for a ton of yards because of his running ability, but has a great matchup this week against a Rams defense that is allowing 7.9 yards per completion, the third-most in the league. Allen has eclipsed 237 passing yards in three of his last five games.
Rams QB Matthew Stafford UNDER 249.5 passing yards vs. Bills (-117) – Caesars Sportsbook
Stafford is still capable of having a big performance in any given week, but he also often underwhelms. He has been held under the 250-yard passing mark in each of his last two games.
Stafford faces a good Bills secondary this week that ranks eighth in the NFL against the pass, allowing just an average of 200 yards per game. Since Buffalo struggles against the run, it makes sense for the Rams to feed Williams early and often.
Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson OVER 231.5 passing yards vs. Cleveland Browns (-114) – FanDuel
Wilson has become increasingly comfortable in Pittsburgh's offense each week. He's coming off a big 414-yard, three touchdown performance against the Bengals last week.
He has thrown for over 231 passing yards in three of his last five games, and this week faces a Browns defense that is surrendering eight yards per completion – the second highest in the league.
Browns QB Jameis Winston OVER 0.5 interceptions vs. Steelers (-210) – BetMGM
Winston is a talented quarterback who can make all the throws and rack up a ton of yards, but he has had a serious turnover problem throughout his 10-year NFL career. This year has been no different as he has thrown seven interceptions in five starts.
Winston threw three last week against the Broncos, two of which were returned for touchdowns. The Steelers have the third-most interceptions among all defenses in the NFL, making for a bad recipe for Winston.
Los Angeles Chargers QB Justin Herbert OVER 229.5 passing yards vs. Kansas City Chiefs (-115) – DraftKings
Herbert hasn't thrown for the type of yardage as he has in previous years because the Chargers have transformed into a physical, run-first team under coach Jim Harbaugh.
However, Herbert will be without starting running back J.K. Dobbins in this game, and backups Gus Edwards and Kimani Vidal combined for just 52 yards last week. Herbert is also facing a Chiefs defense that ranks 23rd against the pass and have struggled to replace Jaylen Watson at cornerback.
Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes UNDER 249.5 passing yards vs. Chargers (-120) – BetMGM
It's been difficult to gage what you're going to get from the Chiefs' passing game this season. Mahomes has thrown for more yardage as of late compared to earlier this season, but the Chargers have the No. 10 passing defense in the league.
Last time Mahomes faced a good secondary (which was against the Buffalo Bills) he only threw for 196 yards. With Pacheco back in the fold, K.C. could go with a heavy run approach.
Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith OVER 249.5 passing yards vs. Arizona Cardinals (-115) – BetMGM
Smith ranks third in the NFL in passing yards, averaging 270 per game. He threw for over 250 yards against the Cardinals two weeks ago, and seven times total this season. Smith has an awesome trio of wide receivers to work with in Smith-Njigba, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. Arizona's defense is middling against the pass, ranking 18th in the league.
Atlanta Falcons QB Kirk Cousins UNDER 1.5 passing touchdowns vs. Minnesota Vikings (-144) – FanDuel
Cousins has gone ice cold over the past month, throwing zero touchdown passes in each of his last three games. He also has six interceptions during that span.
Things have gotten so bad for Cousins that some people are clamoring for him to be benched for rookie backup quarterback Michael Penix Jr. Things may not get any better this week as the Vikings have a very talented secondary that leads the NFL in interceptions with 18.
