The 2-9 New York Giants travel to Dallas to take on the 4-7 Cowboys in a Thanksgiving Day NFC East showdown.

The Cowboys snapped a five-game losing streak with a win over the Washington Commanders last week. Dallas' offense played it's best game in a while, as quarterback Cooper Rush tossed two touchdown passes and running back Rico Dowdle racked up 86 rushing yards. The Cowboys have next to no shot at the playoffs, but a light schedule could provide the chance to finish near .500.

The Giants are in turmoil, losers of their last six games. They parted ways with quarterback Daniel Jones, hoping that Tommy DeVito would provide a spark. Unfortunately for New York, that did not happen during a 30-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week. The Giants' defense has been relatively solid this season, but the offense ranks dead last in points per game at just 14.8.

Here are the best odds and bets for this matchup.

Cowboys vs. Giants Moneyline

Cowboys: -215
Giants: +180

Both of these teams have had plenty of struggles, but at least the Cowboys have shown some life recently. Now that he's in the swing of things, Rush should be efficient and safe with the ball, and he has some nice weapons to work with in CeeDee Lamb and Jake Ferguson.

It's tough to find much of a positive for the Giants right now. They could turn to Drew Lock at quarterback this week as DeVito is dealing with a forearm injury. Perhaps Lock can give the offense some life, but I need to see it to believe it. I'm avoiding the moneyline and betting Dallas to cover the spread.

Cowboys vs. Giants Spread

Cowboys: -3.5 (-115)
Giants: +3.5 (-105)

The Giants being a bad team and playing on the road during a short week is plenty in of itself to bet the Cowboys to cover this small spread.

Cowboys vs. Giants Over-Under 37.5 total points

Over: -105
Under: -115

Although the Dallas offense found some success last week, it's still inconsistent and the Giants' defense better than it gets credit for. New York's offense is anemic, so I'll be the under.
