There are only 31 picks in the first round of this year’s draft, as the Miami Dolphins were stripped of their selection due to a violation of league policy.

Mock Draft 2023: Final Predictions Ahead of Tonight

With odds of -2000, it seems like a foregone conclusion that Alabama’s Bryce Young will be the first overall pick on Thursday night. After that, things are up for debate. Four players have odds of 5/1 or less to be taken at number two and there is also some speculation that the Houston Texans will look to trade down.

Regardless of who picks at number two, our experts’ NFL mock draft 2023 does not think it will be Alabama’s Will Anderson. In fact, our experts think that there’s a high likelihood that Anderson falls out of the top three selections. The odds are also enticing here, as we are betting Will Anderson Over 3.5 at +140 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Anderson is, however, expected to be the first defensive player selected based on current odds (-150). Tyree Wilson follows closely at -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook, and if he is indeed selected with the second pick, just one more player would need to be chosen before Anderson.

However, some analysts think we could see a quarterback taken at number two, potentially Kentucky’s Will Levis. Levis currently has odds of +225 to go second overall, tied with Tyree Wilson and just behind Anderson (+130). If Levis is selected at number two, it’s possible we see a team trades up for one of the two remaining elite quarterback prospects.

The 2023 NFL Draft will begin on Thursday, April 27th, and continues through Saturday, April 29th. The seven rounds are split up over three days, but a day-by-day schedule is as follows:
