Kansas City is looking to make NFL history by being the first team to ever win three straight Super Bowls. On paper, it can be argued that this year's Chiefs team is even better than the previous two. They retooled their passing attack by adding speedy receivers Hollywood Brown and Xavier Worthy, while also strengthening their backfield with backup running back Samaje Perine.
It is of note that the Chiefs will be without Brown in this game. Defensively, K.C. should still be a top 10 unit but could be a little weaker at cornerback following the loss of L'Jarius Sneed. It's front seven is one of the tops in the league and should once again be among the leaders in sacks.
The Ravens are still an AFC powerhouse and are looking to get over the hump into the Super Bowl. Their big offseason addition was three-time All-Pro running back Derrick Henry, who will make a lethal combination with quarterback Lamar Jackson in the run game. Baltimore's offensive line will feature three new starters, and it remains to be seen if it will be as good as last year's unit.
There were a few departures among the Ravens' front seven, but they have viable replacements and shouldn't experience much drop off, if any. Their secondary remains one of the best in the NFL, led by All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton. As usual, the Ravens possess a strong special teams unit and kicker Justin Tucker is still at the top of his game.
