The Broncos are looking to take a big step forward in year two under coach Sean Payton. Rookie Bo Nix is the new quarterback in town, and he has the full confidence of the coaching staff. If he's as ready as they believe he is, Denver could be an under-the-radar contender for a wild card spot.

The Seahawks have been a sub-.500 team for the last few years and seem to be stuck there again in 2024. They have an awesome trio of receivers in DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jackson Smith-Njigba, but all three starters from the interior offensive line from last year are gone. Defensively, Seattle has some good, young talent up front, but big question marks in its secondary.

I like the Broncos to cover as six-point road underdogs. It should be a tight game, but you have to play it safe and go with the home team in Week 1. I would also take the under on the total points set at 42.
