The offseason is officially in full swing as the Buffalo Bills front office just made another important decision.

Per ESPN Insider Adam Schefter, the Bills front office completed a deal that will free up $6M for the team. Bills All-Pro LB Matt Milano agreed to the contract extension through the 2026 season.

Cap space was going to be an issue that needed to be corrected immediately if the team wanted to bring in anyone this offseason. Luckily, Brandon Beane got the memo.

Just hours removed from the Tim Settle announcement in which the Bills renegotiated his deal to free up some additional cap space, Brandon Beane and company were able to make another important deal.

Matt Milano, since being drafted by the Bills, is beloved across Bills Mafia circles. The hard-hitting linebacker is a cornerstone of one of the best defenses across the NFL and was able to win All-Pro honors last season.

The All-Pro linebacker finished last season with 99 combined tackles, two fumble recoveries, three interceptions, and a highlight-reel touchdown.

Milano and Edmunds were game-changers on the football field when paired up. While Bills Mafia should be ecstatic that Milano will be sticking around, there is still uncertainty about the team's other All-Pro linebacker.

Whatever happens, it's clear that Brandon Beane is making moves for something. Whether that's to pay Edmunds or Poyer or immediately find their replacements via free agency, the team is going to be busy.

Here's hoping the team has a few more things up their sleeves. At the end of the day, Milano being back in Buffalo for the foreseeable future is great for the team.
