Brandon Beane is wasting no time with his offseason plans for the Buffalo Bills.

Per NFL Insider Field Yates, it was announced that the front office completed a deal that will free up nearly $600k for the team. Bills DT Tim Settle agreed to the renegotiated deal for 2023.

Since joining the Bills, Settle has accumulated 19 total tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble. Admittedly, the entire defensive line seemed to struggle once Von Miller got injured.

Settle is an important pillar of an impressive unit. The defensive tackle is in a perfect situation with the Bills' previous decision to bring in Von Miller. Buffalo brought in Miller not only for his on-field dominance but for his leadership and expertise. Miller's presence both in the locker room and on the field will help Settle elevate his game to the next level.

Settle knew the importance of winning over the Bills Mafia. One press conference was all it took for the fanbase to fall in love. Bills fans are hoping that Settle can continue to improve and call Buffalo his home for a few more years.

This move is huge because it appears to be a sign of things to come. Brandon Beane and the front office most likely will start announcing these decisions in batches. If they're working on one for Tim Settle, it's very likely they are talking to other camps and parties right now.

Buffalo has their work cut out for them as they find themselves in a tough situation from a cap space perspective.

Here's hoping the team has some more restructures, renegotiations, or other roster decisions at the ready.
