The Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl LVIII champions parade has been filled with unforgettable moments from players, fans, and more.
Chiefs LB Drue Tranquill can take credit for two of those moments. First, Tranquill called out his former team, the Los Angeles Chargers. Next, Tranquill went on an epic rant on KSHB-TV aimed at the team's Super Bowl doubters and detractors.
Check it out:
Tranquill stole the microphone from a KSHB-TV reporter and dropped some significant truth on the team's path to the Super Bowl. The message was pretty simple: Never count out his team.
"Hey, this is way better than LA.
The streets are lined, there are millions of people here.
My goodness
Miami, Got 'Em!
Buffalo, Got 'Em! In a blizzard, in the snow!
Baltimore, Can't beat them. Big bad wolf. No chance! We get after them!
Then, the big bad 49ers. Oh, coming in! Oh., this, that, and the other thing.
Man, Big Red, T-Swift and The Boys came and took it! We took took it! They didn't give us nothing and we took it!I don't even have a voice right now.
I love you guys!"
A rant for the ages, which will be remembered for a very, very long time throughout the Chiefs Kingdom.
Update: A previous version of this story included "drunken" and references to alcohol. Tranquill doesn't consume alcohol and his excitement during the parade was a direct result of achieving a lifetime goal of winning Super Bowl LVIII.
