The Kansas City Chiefs are adding to their defense in free agency.

Per Jordan Schultz, Charles Omenihu is signing a two-year, $20 million max deal with the Chiefs. Omenihu is the replacement or at least help at the defensive end position after the Chiefs released Frank Clark to free up $21 million in cap space.

Omenihu spent the first three years of his career in Houston with the Texans where he played 35 games and finished with seven sacks.

He then went to the San Francisco 49ers where he was part of the league's best defense. He finished his two years as a 49er with 4.5 sacks in 26 games.

This may not be the move everyone expected them to make, because it isn't a big splash, but it's still a good move.
