There have been a lot of great quotes from Super Bowl media opportunities this week, but the best quote of the week came from Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.
Reid was asked if he drinks coffee (there are always a lot of bizarre questions during Super Bowl week and this was far from the weirdest question this week).
His response?
"I've got endless energy for a chubby guy," said Reid.
How can you not love Andy Reid?
Not only is he one of the best head coaches and play-callers in NFL history, but he's also just an extremely likable guy. Reid can be completely stoic and then drop a gem like that.
If there's anyone out there that says they don't like Reid, that says more about them than it says about Kansas City's head coach.
I'm sure Reid will be full of his typical reserved energy on Sunday when the Chiefs take the field against the Philadelphia Eagles. And he won't need any coffee to help keep his battery going.
