Former Kansas City Chiefs superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill is spilling the beans and doing his ol' team no favors, man.

Following Super Bowl LVIII by going on Twitter/X to make a very fair question about one of the biggest stars on the team. And no, I'm not talking about a player right now.

Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo was the muse of Hill's question in the aftermath of a masterful year leading the Chiefs defense. If you paid attention to Kansas City football in 2023, you already know where this is going.

Hill asked about Spagnuolo's current standing among NFL teams as the 64-year-old coach seems to be overlooked on head coaching searches every single year. The Miami Dolphins All-Pro wideout just wants to know, why?

In all seriousness, it's a fair question and one that shouldn't seriously be seen as an attempt to sabotage the Chiefs, even if fans selfishly want to Spags to stick around KC as defensive coordinator.

As far as the question itself, you can see where it's coming from. Sure, Spagnuolo's 10-38 record as a head coach with the St. Louis Rams is one heck of a blemish on his resume but it's hard to ignore how consistent he's been in doing more with less. And when finally provided with a talented defense, his ideas translated to one of the most fearsome units in the entire league, ranking seventh in defensive DVOA, sixth in EPA/play and fourth in success rate.

And by the way, even the Rams COO is admitting on Twitter/X that Spags inherited a terrible situation in St. Louis.

Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes are one of the greatest duos in NFL football history. But the Chiefs simply don't win this Super Bowl if it wasn't for Spags' defense. They likely don't even get there in the first place.

One would be smart to assume that if Spags wanted another run at head coaching, he should get it. At the very least, he should be getting interviews.

But does Spagnuolo even want a head coaching gig?

However, there's a good chance Spags isn't all that interested in becoming a head coach for the time being, despite of him leaving the door open on such a scenario. First and foremost, he just got his wife to move to Kansas City in 2023 and has been coaching for the Chiefs for five years now.

Plus, why would he leave a chance at winning  even more Super Bowl rings with Reid and Mahomes around? It would have to be an extremely lucrative opportunity, financially or sports-wise with a team perfectly set up for success.

There's a high probability Spags would need a picture-perfect opportunity to pop up for him to leave Kansas City anytime soon.
