The Buffalo Bills finally found their franchise quarterback in Josh Allen.
On draft night, many thought it would be another bust for the Buffalo Bills. In fact, some said that if the team were to succeed, they would've outsmarted the entirety of math itself.
The Bills Mafia were hoping for a change, hoping for the first true franchise quarterback since Jim Kelly. While some fans may have said the team drafted the "wrong Josh" what wound up happening next is beyond the fanbase's wildest dreams.
Fast forward to today, Allen isn't only one of the best players in the entire National Football League, but he's been the franchise quarterback a hungry fanbase has waited years for. Allen is a bonafide superstar in the biggest sport in the country, on one of the best teams.
MVP gets thrown around every year with Josh Allen at the helm and Super Bowl dreams aren't as outlandish as when EJ Manuel was the signal-caller for the organization. (Sorry EJ.)
Allen, once again, wrote another chapter in his impressive story. In their latest rankings, Josh Allen found himself in the top-ten across all players in the league, as voted by the players. Specifically, Allen landed at number eight.

The stiff-arming, hurdling, rocket-arm quarterback won the city over almost immediately upon his arrival, and it looks like the league wasn't too far behind. While there are critics of Allen and his sometimes turnover-prone play, there's no denying that he's beyond elite.
While it may just seem like a silly list, it's yet another indication of just how special Allen is. The Bills Mafia loves their quarterback, children cry in excitement to give him a hug, and grown men scream at their tv in pure joy when he rolls out of the pocket for yet another near-superhuman completion.
The Buffalo Bills have struck gold. Yes, we can all argue Allen should be number one and it's an outrage, but we're so far removed from the doom and gloom decades the team found themselves in previously.
We're no longer hoping to just make the playoffs, we're not watching the injury updates to see if we can capitalize on a massive mismatch to try and steal a win. Buffalo is a powerhouse in the NFL and that's in part because of the work that Allen has been able to do on the football field.
When Josh Allen eventually hoists the Lombardi for the city of Buffalo, overcoming all the challenges and critics in his life and giving the city it's first-ever championship, the team will have once again outsmarted math itself.
Allen, already, is one of the best quarterbacks in Buffalo Bills history. Once he wins it all, we can't imagine it'll take long for his statue to show up in front of Highmark Stadium (or whatever it eventually will be called.)
Today, like many days before and after, we are grateful for Josh Allen.
