The Buffalo Bills are heading back to the playoffs after a huge win over the Miami Dolphins.
A walk-off field goal from Tyler Bass secured the victory and has the Bills back in the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season.
Buffalo's defense is finding ways to survive without Von Miller and the offense is finding its rhythm. There are still some growing pains on both sides of the football but the team is winning close games.
One of the biggest reasons for the team's struggles was the injuries that plagued the team this season. Stars Von Miller and Micah Hyde have suffered what we thought to be season-ending injuries.
Add in Jameson Crowder, Christian Benford, and a slew of other talented starters who have also missed substantial time this season.
However, the entire league should be worried about the video that was just released from the Bills' latest practice.
Crowder, Benford, and Hyde were all seen doing some light work on the side of the practice. It was believed that Crowder and Hyde might miss the entire season. Now, there is a serious movement that both of them could see the field.
Buffalo's already stellar defense has been surviving and thriving without the All-Pro Hyde being in the lineup. Adding Hyde back to the already talented defense would be a matchup nightmare for the entire NFL.
Additionally, one of the Bills' biggest weaknesses of late has been the ability to have receivers contribute out of the slot position. Crowder being healthy adds yet another weapon for Josh Allen and the explosive offense, potentially bringing an aspect of their game we have seen very little from all season.
Finally, Christian Benford getting some light work in is yet another boost for the secondary, specifically. While the Bills drafted Kaiir Elam in the first round, it was Benford who got the start for the Bills' first game of the season.
Having Benford matchup with Elam, Jackson, and White would be yet another game-changer for the Bills and their hopes to secure the franchise's first-ever Super Bowl.
Nothing is guaranteed and McDermott and Beane have a history of taking things slow with injuries. There is a reasonable doubt Crowder sees the field, let alone Micah Hyde.
However, if they were somehow able to get healthy for the playoffs, this team would be a juggernaut.
Get your popcorn ready, Bills Mafia.
