Sunday’s loss to the Green Bay Packers (5-8) stings more than usual for the Chicago Bears (3-10) and its fanbase.
The Bears played host to one of the weakest Packers teams in the Aaron Rodgers era, but the result did not change. Green Bay picked up its sixth straight win over its NFC North rival, moving Rodgers’ record to 24-5 against Chicago.
With the loss comes an even more depressing storyline for Bears fans. Green Bay overtook Chicago for the NFL’s all-time leader in wins.
The Packers have 787 wins in franchise history compared to the Bears’ 786. The New York Giants are a distant third with 713 victories to its name.
This year has been full of trials and tribulations for Bears fans. However, this loss feels like rock bottom for the Bears.
