The Cincinnati Bengals don't pick until the end of the first round in this year's NFL draft. However, their second-round pick may be as anticipated due to the latest news.

Teams like to bring back legends from the past to make their draft selections at some point, and it's a great way to remember and respect the players who have paved the way for the current crop of draftees. On Friday, Bengals' great A.J. Green will announce the 60th pick.

Green was taken with the fourth overall pick by the Bengals in 2011, and the former Georgia Bulldog made them look extremely smart for doing so. Green gained over 1,000 yards in each of his first five seasons and made the Pro Bowl seven consecutive years to start his career which included two second-team All-Pro nods.

During his nine seasons on the field for the Bengals (miss 2019 due to an ankle injury), Green produced 649 receptions for 9,430 yards and 65 touchdowns. He would play his final two years with the Arizona Cardinals and put up 78 catches for 1,084 yards and five scores.

Green is certainly one of the best players in Bengals history and continued the standard that Chad Ochocinco Johnson set a decade before him for wide receivers in Cincinnati. It has lived on with Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd who are arguably the best trio of receivers in the NFL currently.

Green may have announced his retirement in February, but one of the players looking to make his mark in Bengals franchise history will get to rub elbows with him this week.
