Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has a mindset that’s just…different.

Burrow, the No. 1 overall pick by the Bengals in the 2020 NFL Draft, is a natural-born leader who players seem to gravitate toward — even veterans.

Part of the reason that Burrow is a great leader is because he leads by example.

On Tuesday, for example, Burrow stayed after practice to do sprints.

While players like Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers — a future first-ballot Hall of Famer — are focused on not attending OTAs until absolutely necessary, Burrow is staying after practice to run.

Anyone who follows Burrow closely shouldn’t be surprised. There aren’t many things in life more important to Burrow than football. And his dedication to putting in extra work in June — when many others are taking it easy — is all the proof we need that Burrow’s mindset is beyond elite.
