The 2026 NFL Combine has come to a close and the Alabama Crimson Tide players put on a show. Alabama brought the second most players to the event with 12, and while no player had a bad showing, there were three who stood out among their respective position groups. Here they are.

OL Parker Brailsford

There are some concerns about Brailsford’s ability to anchor and handle true nose tackles as a lighter center. He will need to continue to elevate his play strength and his base, but he put on a show during Sunday’s workout.

Brailsford looked smooth, athletic, and explosive during the position drills, and he was one of the best testers among the entire group. Coming in at 6-2 and 290 pounds, he ran a 4.95 40-yard dash and jumped nearly 33 inches in the vertical. He proved that he has the athleticism for a wide zone scheme and cemented himself as a mid-round pick with his showing in Indianapolis.

WR Germie Bernard

When you watch Bernard on tape, you don’t see a ton of high-end athleticism. He doesn’t run past a lot of players or make big-time plays in the open field. However, he’s elite in contested catch scenarios and he has natural separation skills. Answering questions about his athletic profile would be among the biggest in Indy, and he did just that in the 40.

Coming in at 6-1 and over 200 pounds, anything below a 4.55 in the 40-yard dash would be a win for Bernard. Well, he went sub 4.5 with a 4.48 on his second attempt on Saturday, helping firmly entrench himself in that round two conversation.

QB Ty Simpson

With Fernando Mendoza opting to wait to throw until his Pro Day, Simpson was the marquee quarterback in Indianapolis, and he played like it. The goal of any passer during the NFL Combine is to make your layups and to show off on the deep throws. Simpson layered the ball nicely, showed touch and velocity, and made some nice throws down the boundary.

Simpson also had an excellent podium session, and while we don’t know all the details of how he interviewed with teams, it’s fair to assume that his recall and football intelligence left a few teams impressed with what he can do on the board.
