It's finally here.
Gameday has arrived for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Looking to start a new era of football in T town, here are the key angles to watch against Western Kentucky.
Jalen Milroe's Devlopment

The Alabama Crimson Tide will go as far as their signal caller and the 2024-2025 potential Heisman trophy-winning QB will take them. And while Milroe has undoubtedly shown the ability to progress, (in-season I might add) there is another level he needs to reach for the Tide to strike fear into the pinnacle of college football.
Saturday will be a glimpse into that process.
"Now it's really playing football, understanding situations, getting on the same page with both [OC] Nick Sheridan and the play caller and myself and working through all of those things, HC Kalen Deboer said of Milroe during the Week 1 SEC call. And then there's the leadership piece too. He does such a great job of that, both on and off the field. He holds himself to an extremely high standard in all ways. And he leads through example. He leads with his poise and even body language and then his words as well."
What does the new communication rule look like?

Following the sign stealing scandal in Michigan, college football has advanced their mechanism for communication, allowing defenders, or more specifically green dot LB Deontae Lawson, to hear from Kane Wommack up to 15 seconds before the ball is snapped.
“It will be a cat and mouse game,” Alabama defensive coordinator Kane Wommack told reporters when asked about a defender being allowed to have a mic in their helmet. “I’m excited to see how to navigate that. I want to stay ahead of the curve.”
Who Wins the RT Job?
HC Kalen DeBoer openly admitted on Wednesday that Saturday's game will be analogous to a preseason NFL game in terms of a position battle for starting RT, a position up for grabs between Elijah Pritchett and Wilkin Formby.
"Right tackle probably is the other position where there's competition," said DeBoer when asked about the offensive line. "I think you can easily see us playing six throughout the game, rotating at one position, that being right tackle. But we have a guy or two that I think that will continue to come up for one of those other starting spots."
