With the NCAA Transfer Portal opening last week, we have seen hundreds of talented college football players entering to find a new home. That includes former Alabama wide receiver Kendrick Law, who is looking for redemption after a disappointing tenure with the Crimson Tide.

On3 has reported that Law has a visit scheduled for this week. Both transfer portal reporter Pete Nakos and Sam Gillenwater reported that Law has set up an official visit to Florida State on Tuesday. They appear to be a school to watch early on in this portal process.

Law came to Alabama as a Composite top-100 recruit out of the state of Louisiana. The Shreveport native was considered an elite athlete recruit, having some projection to either wide receiver, or defensive back on the next level. He opted for the Crimson Tide and the offensive side of the football, choosing them over offers from Texas, Notre Dame, LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss, and Florida State among many others.

Despite a lot of expectations signing in the 2022 class, Law never lived up to expectations in Tuscaloosa. During his three years with the problem, Law hauled in 33 receptions for 343 yards and a touchdown. Law also saw some time on special teams, including reps as a kick and punt returner.

Florida State was a team very high on Law’s list coming out of Captain Shreve. The Seminoles have a clear need at wide receiver, and Law could help to find those answers as well as contribute on special teams. If the visit goes well, Florida State could be the team to beat in the end.
