The Alabama Crimson Tide may have had a disappointing 2024 season, but they still have a plethora of NFL Draft prospects.
One of those players is star offensive lineman Tyler Booker, who will make his first pre-draft impression at next week's NFL Combine.
And according to Ryan Roberts and Joe DeLeone of the A to Z Sports Film Room, Booker should be the talk of the town…
Tyler Booker expected to have big showing at NFL Combine
"I'm also a huge Tyler Booker fan," said Joe DeLeone. "I don't know if he's going to put anything nutty up on the 40, but he is somebody who you're going to watch mirror and move in these on-field drills, and you're going to be saying yourself, 'oh my god, this guy is so steady and fluid.'"
Booker has been a popular first-round pick in mock drafts, despite the fact that he plays one of the "least valuable" positions on offense. Guards, tight ends and running backs tend to get a raw deal despite the fact that the team that just won the Super Bowl (Philadelphia Eagles) excelled at all three positions.
But Booker has generated that kind of of buzz due to his raw physical traits and years of steady tape against the best defensive lineman in college football while playing in the SEC.
"Tyler Booker is just gonna be fun to watch, man, because from 2023 to 2024 he lost some weight. He cut like 20 pounds," said Ryan Roberts. "I thought his flexibility, took a major step. I thought his foot quickness took a major step. He's just a really powerful, explosive kid that I just want to see personally in Indianapolis."
"Yeah, I can't wait to see him blow up the sled or maybe completely knock over one of the other offensive linemen during these drills," added DeLeone.
It's the biggest job interview of his life for Booker. There will be the UA Pro Day in a few weeks, but nothing is more important from a total evaluation process than that of the NFL Combine.
