It's safe to say that the Georgia Bulldogs have a major problem catching the ball after they finished the 2024 regular season with 36 dropped passes, which puts them first in a category that they don't wanna be in.

Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck addressed the team's dropped ball issues during Monday's press conference and took a positive spin on the matter.

“When things don't go the way you want them to, obviously you're going to feel frustration," Beck said. "I think for me, the biggest thing is letting them know that I'm confident in them. You know, I make bad throws. I make errant throws. A lot of the drops, whether it's on them or on me, it could go either way. But, I mean, I'm not perfect. You know, I make mistakes. I've had my fair share of them this year."

Of course, it's frustrating for Beck but that doesn't mean he is going to give up on his receivers, especially with how things go when they actually do hold onto the football.

"So, no, I mean, I still have confidence in those guys. And when they do catch them, it's explosive," Beck continued. "What are we going to do, stop throwing the ball? No, we're going to continue to throw it. We have confidence in them. We believe in them. I believe in them. I mean, they've made some huge plays this year to bring us back in games and put us in situations to, you know, lead these comebacks that we've had this year. So, obviously, I mean, we've just got to keep throwing it.”

Beck finished his final regular season with the Dawgs completing 283 of 435 pass attempts for 3,429 yards and 28 touchdowns with 12 interceptions. His 28 passing touchdowns ranked first in the SEC. His longest completion was a 67-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Dillon Bell against Alabama earlier in the year.

Beck and the Bulldogs will get a few more games in the post-season to show that they're way more and better than their dropped balls, starting with the SEC Championship against Texas on Saturday.
