Recruiting has been going well recently for the Florida Gators. They just finished hosting five-star offensive tackle Felix Ojo during the Orange & Blue game. The 2026 class only has three prospects committed so far, but it's very early in the recruiting cycle.

Top Florida Gators target Bralan Womack sets commitment date

Head coach Billy Napier's Gators are in the top four for the number one safety in the class Bralan Womack out of Brandon, Mississippi and he's set a recruitment date of August 23rd.

Being in the top four is a good first step and they also hosted him on an unofficial visit where Womack told On3 Sports' Steve Wiltfong a lot of positive things about his visit.

“I like the culture over there. They know they’re young but they will continue to compete and do it at a high level this upcoming season!

The Gators are facing somewhat of an uphill battle for his commitment, as Ohio State is firmly in the driver's seat. He is one of the Gators' top targets, but they have a potential edge in getting a commitment from Womack: new co-defensive coordinator/safeties coach Vinnie Sunseri.

Having him come in and get in on the recruiting after coming in back in February could end up being what lands the Gators Womack
