Florida State Seminoles freshman playmaker isn’t scared to tell it how it is when it comes to opening their season against Alabama
The Florida State Seminoles are ready to play Alabama.
There hasn’t been a regular-season opener as big as the one the Florida State Seminoles are about to play against Alabama in quite some time. The implications of this game are kind of big.
Now, no one is guaranteeing a Seminoles win over a roster like the one Alabama has that is loaded with NFL talent. Sure, some think the Seminoles have a shot to upset them, but this is a team that just won two games last year. Well, actually, it isn’t. Only nine of the projected starters are guys who were on the team last year. And, this is a new staff for the next time head coach Mike Norvell.
So, no, this isn’t the same team. And the Seminoles are actually very confident in themselves. I’m sure everyone knows that by now, too, as they have let everyone know, whether it’s quarterback Tommy Castellanos telling everyone how they’ll beat Alabama.
This Seminoles team is one that could see them be much better in 2025, but also be a team that has its struggles throughout the season. They are new, and they have some young players that are very good and will play big roles for them during the season, but that comes with growing pains.
But the good thing is, these young players are ready for whatever Alabama will bring.
Seminoles freshman Ousmane Kromah is ready for Alabama
The Seminoles put together a top-25 recruiting class for 2025, despite only having two wins last year. And those players have been having a very good fall camp. It’s starting to look like the Seminoles have put together an extremely good class with some good potential for the future.
One of those freshmen couldn’t be more ready to face Alabama.
“It’s Bama, I’m going to be real, like this game is something I’ve dreamed about… by the time they come, I’m going to know the whole offense,” freshman Ousmane Kromah told reporters earlier this week.
Kormah is a young four-star running back who will be fighting for playing time in 2025, but clearly has the potential to get on the field and have a big role. But for that young of a player to be that confident, while also knowing the magnitude of what he’s about to do, shows the Seminoles are recruiting the right young men.
And he’s not afraid to let everyone know that he has been waiting for this moment for his entire life.
