That's a wrap for Georgia spring football 2024!

The Bulldogs put on quite the show for fans who chose to stop by Sanford Stadium for G-Day over going to Augusta for the Masters on Saturday.

The defense looked dominant, while the offense showed off their endless weapons.

It was a low-scoring game with the defense putting up a strong fight until the last two minutes when the Red team (made up of the first-team offense) came back to tie the Black team (made up of the first-team defense) with a final score 20-20.

There were many winners from the annual G-Day scrimmage, but here are the three Bulldogs who won outright.

QB Gunner Stockton

Gunner Stockton completed 23 of 37 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns during the scrimmage and raised his stock as Carson Beck's second-string quarterback.

One of his best passes of the day came when he connected with Anthony Evans for 54 yards early in the first quarter.

He launched another 32-yard rocket pass to freshman wideout Nitro Tuggle late in the fourth quarter.

Stockton threw only one interception in the game.

As for Beck, he completed 25 of his 46 passes for 301 yards and two scores with two interceptions.

WR Dominic Lovett

Beck's best play on the day was when he found former Missouri wide receiver transfer Dominic Lovett in the end zone during the final seconds of the scrimmage.

Lovett had to reach around the defender to catch Beck's pass, which he did in the smoothest way possible.

He led all receivers at G-Day as he reeled in seven receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown.

There's no doubt that Lovett and Beck will be a dangerous combo in 2024, though QB1 will have plenty of options to target.

"I think all across the board, our wideouts may be our best leadership group. O-line maybe and then receiver," Smart said. "They have some really good core leaders.

DL Mykel Williams

Mykel Williams was another Bulldog who shined as he intercepted his own tipped pass near the end zone during the second quarter.

Williams, who finished with six tackles and two pass breakups to go with his interception, set the tone for the defense for the remainder of the game.

"He’s been able to practice. He has not, he had spring practice last year, he missed some practices," Smart said of Williams. "He had fall camp last year, he missed some practices. I explained to him, if you want to have a really good year, you want to have a really good camp. He’s kind of bought into that. Practicing good makes you better. It’s not his fault, he’s been injured. But you can’t play good if you don’t practice.

"I thought that he had a really good spring from a standpoint of leadership, toughness. He didn’t get a ton of reps. The guy’s been a two-year starter. But it’ll be a chance to get Ty more reps when we come back in the fall, continue to increase Joseph Jonah-Ajonye, and then Justin Greene. We’ve got some defensive ends that can spell him. He was a factor today.”
