Georgia's defense will be looking to get themselves back into the top 10 rankings with high hopes of replicating their back-to-back 2021 and 2022 championship success this fall.

We're predicting Georgia's defense's two-deep depth chart as training camp continues. Who will start, and which key depth pieces will make an impact this college football season?

2024 Georgia Bulldogs Two Deep on Defense

Defensive Line

Nose Tackle
– Nazir Stackhouse
– Jamaal Jarrett

Defensive Tackle
– Warren Brinson
– Xavier McCleod

Defensive End
– Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins
– Gabe Harris

Georgia's defensive line is not an area for concern, even though they are dealing with a handful of injuries. Nazir Stackhouse and Warren Brinson return for that veteran boost and we should expect breakout years from sophomore Gabe Harris and Jah Jarrett.

Linebackers

JACK
-Mykel Williams
-Chaz Chambliss

MIKE
– CJ Allen
– Raylen Wilson

WILL
– Smael Mondon
– Jalen Walker

The biggest change here is with Mykel Williams, who played defensive end last fall. However, the position switch should give him more opportunities to make a bigger impact and not let his explosiveness or physicality go to waste. He will also still be used as a defensive end in certain packages. With Williams and Chambliss taking care of the outside duties, CJ Allen and Smael Mondon are your obvious starters on the inside.

Secondary

STAR
-Joenel Aguero
-JaCorey Thomas

FS
-Dan Jackson
-KJ Bolden

SS
-Malaki Starks
-Jake Pope

RCB
– Julian Humphrey
– Ellis Robinson

LCB
– Daylen Everette
– Daniel Harris

Georgia's secondary was at their best last year, but they've since lost three of their key players to the NFL draft. A lot will fall on Malaki Starks and Daylen Everette, but they can't handle the secondary themselves. There's a chance five-star recruit KJ Bolden could start if he beats out veteran senior Dan Jackson in fall camp. Meanwhile, Daniel Harris and Julian Humphrey will continue to compete for the starting cornerback job opposite Everette. And Joenel Aguero and JaCorey Thomas are expected to share STAR duties.
