Safety Dan Jackson proved at Georgia's Pro Day that the 2025 NFL Combine made a big mistake by not inviting him to their pre-draft event last month.

The former walk-on put up impressive numbers across the board in front of representatives from all 32 NFL teams at Georgia's private event, but really stunned evaluators by running a speedy 4.48 40-yard dash.

While Jackson's NFL Combine snub rubbed many the wrong way, he never let it faze him from the get-go.

"From day one, I never let it get to me because I know that God's in control," Jackson said of his NFL Combine snub. "That's what I believe. I don't have time to focus on that or worry about that because right when it happened, I knew that this is where I'd be performing, and where I'd be running, and locked in from there."

In his final year at Georgia, Jackson logged a career-high 64 tackles, two interceptions, three pass breakups, and one forced fumble.

Where Jackson goes from here remains to be seen, however, he has one goal in mind for NFL teams ahead of the April draft.

"I just want them to realize how much I love the game," Jackson said. "Sometimes you can tell by watching on film, but I feel like once they get to know me, they'll realize that, you know, I don't just like football, but I love it. And I will for the rest of my life."

Jackson is currently considered a Day 3 pick in this year's draft, but there is a chance his stock will rise following two solid performances at the Reese's Senior Bowl and Pro Day.

Even his teammates are heavily advocating for him.

"He comes in every day, never complains,' Georgia wide receiver Arian Smith said. "That's one person that had to get it out of the mud. He deserves everything that's coming for him."
