The Philadelphia Eagles have turned to a handful of former Georgia Bulldogs players in recent NFL drafts.

And while speaking at the NFL Combine this week, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman shared exactly what it is that makes drafting Georgia products so enticing.

“You know incredibly detailed program,” Roseman said. “Obviously they have a history of winning. You know when you look at it when you add new players and you add this many new players from one place, they also know how to play off each other. They have a chemistry that normally you have to cultivate through your team and through years of practice and so you get a head start and then you’re talking about.

“Really putting in to place one of the greatest defenses in the history of college football, and you know they play with an edge, they play with the mentality and you know Kirby does a phenomenal job.”

Philly now has six former Dawgs on their defense (Jalen Carter, Nakobe Dean, Nolan Smith, Jordan Davis, Kelee Ringo, and Lewis Cine), all of whom were a part of Georgia's 2021 National Championship run.

They are all now Super Bowl champions too.

It's clear as day that Roseman isn't opposed to adding more Georgia products to his roster. However, with the No. 32 overall pick in this year's draft, they may have to trade up if they plan on snagging one in the first round.

Linebacker Jalon Walker, defensive end Mykel Williams, and safety Malaki Starks are Georgia's top three players heading into this year's NFL Draft and each is projected to go well before the final pick on Day 1.

The good news is that Roseman is the king of NFL draft trades.
