Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are on a recruiting hot streak! They're now up to their eighth commit in eight days.
According to On3 Sports, four-star defensive lineman PJ Dean has made up his mind and is committed to Georgia over Ohio State and South Carolina.
"BREAKING: Elite 2026 DL PJ Dean has committed to Georgia, he tells me for @on3recruits. The 6’4 260 DL from Clemmons, NC chose the Bulldogs over South Carolina & Ohio State," Fawcett wrote on X/Twitter.
Dean comes with a unique backstory considering he’s the younger brother of former Georgia lineman Jared Wilson, so he’s already familiar with Athens and the Bulldog culture. Georgia also played a key role in his development, encouraging him to make the switch from offensive line to defense after he shed 40 pounds, a move that’s clearly paid off.
“A dawg always finds his way home," Dean told On3 shortly after committing to Georgia.
The 6-foot-4 and 260-pound lineman out of West Forsyth High School is ranked as the No. 4 defensive lineman, the No. 5 player in North Carolina, and the No. 45 player nationally.
