The son of the great Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton is about to choose where he'll be playing his college football. For multiple years now nearly 30 different FBS programs have been recruiting Eugene Hilton Jr., but it seems he's narrowed things down to just a handful.

Hilton only scheduled two official visits for the month of June while many other top wide receivers set four, five, or six in a row. He just visited Wisconsin last weekend and will be visiting Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs on Friday. There has been plenty of momentum with Georgia to suggest that might be where he'll go, but it's far from a sure thing. But how special is Hilton really? And where will he land?

Eugene Hilton Jr. is a special recruit

Last fall Hilton put up over 900 receiving yards, averaging more than 18 yards per reception and racking up double-digit scores. He brings great length, hands, and route running ability, looking like a complete wide receiver coming out of high school. It's no wonder so many schools are interested.

Hilton shared his top seven schools that he's considering, and On3 Sports posted them on Wednesday, highlighting the fact that his commitment is indeed coming this Friday.

Hilton's quick processing, post-snap adjustments, and ability to line up and win from anywhere on the field makes him the perfect fit to make an instant impact for any of the schools he's considering. But which one will he choose?

Who lands commitment from Hilton?

Many believe that Wisconsin likely has the upper hand since he just visited with them last week and announced shortly thereafter that his commitment was coming soon. However, the battle is still likely Georgia's to lose.

The Bulldog's new wide receivers coach James Coley has a close relationship with the Hilton family that dates back to 2007 when he first recruited T.Y. to play for Florida International. Coley officially extended a scholarship offer to Hilton Sr. the first week on the job, and that fact has stood out in Hilton Jr.'s recruiting process. Georgia also just landed a commitment from fringe five star wide receiver Talyn Taylor this week. If Hilton joins him they'll be the two anchors on offense for the Bulldog's recruiting class.

If it isn't Wisconsin or Georgia, Ole Miss or the more local (for him) Purdue University would make a lot of sense. He's visited with both Ole Miss and Purdue on multiple occasions, mentioning that he would like to log an official visit with both. However, it doesn't seem either official happened in the most critical recruiting month of the calendar, so it does seem like it's truly down to Georgia or Wisconsin.

Will the long-standing relational ties with his father win the day for Georgia? Or will the newfound strong relationships with the Wisconsin coaching staff be enough to sway Hilton Jr. in the end? We'll find out this weekend.
