The College Football Playoff committee continues to make questionable decisions, just like the one where they put Georgia behind a team (Notre Dame) that lost to NIU at home.

Meanwhile, Georgia's losses came on the road against two ranked opponents: No. 13 Ole Miss and No. 11 Alabama.

Head coach Kirby Smart was asked this week whether the committee should involve more coaches and if Nick Saban should have any say.

Smart gave a brief answer, though his focus was elsewhere.

"I don't know. I don't know the best [setup] because I don't even know the makeup. Like, I don't know the exact number of coaches versus administrators, who all's in there or who should be," Smart said. "It's not something that I concern myself with because I don't have a lot of control over it. I certainly think there are people who can make that decision better than me who all need to be on it. They have to have a regional representation. I think that's important, but it's not something that I'm focused on right now."

Georgia will play Texas in the SEC Championship this Saturday while Oregon and Penn State face off in the Big Ten conference title game.

As for Notre Dame, they will sit back and rest this week since they're not in a conference.
